Weekend Crime Results In One Arrest At BART Bay Fair Station

One vehicle had its window busted out in an auto burglary.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — BART reports two crimes at the Bay Fair station over the weekend resulting in one arrest.

The first was a vehicle burglary that happened some time between 2 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 a.m. Sunday. The front passenger window was busted out. Paperwork was stolen. No arrests have been made and no suspect information released.

On Sunday, a drunk and beligerent passenger was removed from a train heading in the Warm Springs direction. Nicholas Kimmons of Sacramento is accused of trying to spit on officers. He was taken into custody, issued a Prohibition Order and booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
