Weekly Farmers Market Open For Season
If you're looking for direct-from-the-farm produce, here's your opportunity.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The popular Downtown San Leandro Farmers Market has opened for the season.
You can snap up freshly grown fruits and vegetables each Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Parrott Street between East 14th Street and Washington Avenue.
Now in its eleventh season, an average of 2,500 people shop there weekly.

In addition to the great produce, residents enjoy live music, fantastic food and a family-friendly entertainment.
This year, the market is introducing a new Made in San Leandro theme that will feature local manufacturers, such as Proyecto Diaz Coffee, House Kombucha, Mr. Dewie's Cashew Creamery, as well as 3D printing tech companies Ivaldi Group and Sculpteo.

The market will also continue its established themes: the monthly Cooking Demonstrations, Wine Tastings, and Green Market Days.
Long time favorites Hummus Heaven, and Precious Puch Doggie Bakery are back. Some new arrivals include Asian vegetable farm Nyia Yi Farms, Kona Ice of Castro Valley, Ohana Bros. Island Style Chips and Popcorn, goat milk products from Evergreen Acres Dairy, and pre-packaged smoothies from the Fruit Tree.
The runs through Oct. 10.
