Yummy & Mack Are Back Home In San Leandro: Owners Overjoyed

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Two dogs, Mack and Yummy, reported missing last week from their San Leandro yard are back home today, to the relief of their owners, after an individual found the pups and called the family.

Mack, a 7-month-old Rottweiler, and Yummy, an 8-year-old tan-and-white "bully," somehow escaped their backyard near the Floresta Gardens neighborhood a week ago, leaving their family in distress and in a search for the two pups, posting flyers and using social media.

A man, who found the doggy duo, called the family after seeing the "missing" notices, and all were reunited, the dogs' owner, Colette, said.

Colette added that her family appreciated the community's response and "the support that we received from everyone with all the posts and shares."
