The 21st Huading Award Arrives in Hollywood, California Arnold Schwarzenegger Confirmed He Will Attend Star-studded Ceremony

On December 15, the 21st Huading Award global film satisfaction ceremony will be held at the Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles. The Huading Award is also known as the Folk Award, to convey "the Choice of 1.3 billion Chinese People to the whole world". A few days ago, the preparatory group of the 21st Huading Award had a Press conference in Los Angeles where Wang Haige, the Chairman and founder of the Huading Award, and Lu Yan, Chairman of the Reviewing Committee stated that "the Huading Award represent the rapid rise of the international influence of the growing Chinese culture and entertainment market".

The Chairman of the Reviewing Committee is undertaken by the international movie star Lu Yan, while the Reviewing Committee is formed by experts in various industries who will nominate the major awards among the movies imported in 2015. At present, many directors, producers, screenwriters, musicians and actors in Hollywood have expressed strong interest in attending the ceremony. Among them Warren Beatty, the producer and leading actor of the classic movie Bonnie and Clyde, who won the Lifetime Achievement Award, Golden Globe Awards and the American Film Institute Award.

The Huading Award was launched in Hollywood two years ago at the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood. The 12th Huading Award Global Film Festival has matured into an international award winning show produce by Don Mischer productions. Past participants including Halle Berry, Orlando Bloom, Charles Matthew Hunnam, Guillermo del Toro, Hans Zimmer, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Zoe Saldana, Jeremy Renner, Michael Bolton, Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Avril Lavigne, Quentin Tarantino, Adrien Brody, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Yimou Zhang, Ziyi Zhang, Andy Lau, Jackie Chan, Bingbing Fan, Xiaogang Feng, Wei Zhao, Eason Chan, Nicholas Tse, Nick Cheung, Angelababy, Xun Zhou, Bo Huang, & Donnie Yen.

American film magazine, Hollywood Reporter regarded the Huading Award as “the signal of the increasingly close connection between the world’s largest and second largest film markets”. In 2015, the Los Angeles County Supervisors recognized the Huading Award ‘for outstanding contribution to the U.S. - Sino culture exchange’, Wang Haige - the Chairman and founder of the Huading was honored with ‘Lifelong Honorary Citizen of Los Angeles’ and the medal of ‘Ambassador of Global Culture and Peace".
