Be a Metro 710 Community Liaison at Upcoming Meeting

Metro is making an open call to all who are interested in the future of the SR-710 and how to address traffic and mobility in the region to join a SR-710 Study Community Liaison Council (CLC), according to a representative on behalf of Metro.

A CLC meeting at San Marino Center (1800 Huntington Drive) on Thursday, April 12 at 6 p.m. will be an introductory meeting to the CLC members.

As a CLC participant, you will act as a liaison between the study team and your community by:

• Sharing updates with others

• Providing feedback to the study team

• Remaining current on the alternatives screening process as it affects your community and the study area

• Gathering feedback received from others in your community and sharing this with the outreach team

• Recommending outreach activities and making suggestions to enhance the public participation program, including the need for technical information.

At the meeting, a presentation will outline the history, the process, where Metro is at in the process and information that will be presented to the Technical Advisory Committee.

CLC members will be given information to take back to the community to study in preparation for the Open Houses in May. 

There is no deadline for applying to the CLC. 

There will be other opportunities to review this information via the Metro Facebook page, website and Twitter feed, but for those who want an opportunity to interact in person with the Metro Outreach Team, the CLCs are for you, said Metro.
