National Charity League San Marino Chapter held their general meeting at the Huntington Library Botanical Gardens this morning and the guest speaker is one of our own Kelly Wilkniss (Patroness Class of 2018 and 2021), has written a beautiful book "My Soulful Home: A Year In Flower "about flower arranging throughout the seasons filled with practical advice and tutorials. She says, "Don't spend your life waiting for someone to send you flowers. Make your own arrangements. If you can embrace every day like it is the special occasion it is, life is sweeter." Her decorating and lifestyle blog, My Soulful Home, is filled with gorgeous photos and inspiring suggestions. This would be a wonderful gift to yourself or a friend, and she is donating the net proceed of her book to the NCL San Marino Chapter's Scholarship Fund.
Last year the members contributed over 21,000 service hours to the local communities. One of the highlight of the Chapter's philanthropic project is partner with LA/USC Hospital for their holiday program which provided 1,388 holiday gift bags to 482 families. #SanMarinoBuzz
