Burglary

Nov. 9
1300 block of Van Dyke Road
2:51 p.m.           
A burglary report was taken when the rear glass door of a house was smashed to gain entry and the house was ransacked.

Kidnapping Threat

Nov. 8
1200 block of San Gabriel Boulevard
2:10 p.m.
A report was taken when a resident received a call from someone threatening to kidnap their grandson if they didn’t send him money.

After further investigation, Patch found that the call was a hoax and is one of several similar incidents reported recently.

Theft

10:33 p.m.           
A report was taken for a stolen credit card.

2400 block of Oak Knoll Avenue
12:09 p.m.
A petty theft report was taken for wallet and sunglasses stolen from a vehicle.

1100 block of Lorain Road

A grand theft report was taken for a stolen watch.

1000 block of Sierra Madre Boulevard
8:35 p.m.
A petty theft report was taken for vehicle registration stolen from a vehicle.

A theft report was taken for a car cover that was stolen off of a vehicle.

Nov. 8
1300 block of Orlando Road
9:18 a.m.
A grand theft report was taken for a purse that was stolen from the back seat of an unlocked vehicle.

Child Abuse

1800 block of Huntington Drive
9:06 p.m.
A child abuse report was taken.

Hit and Run

Nov. 8
Orlando and San Marino Avenue
2:44 p.m.
A hit and run traffic collision occurred.

Vehicle Ransacked

Nov. 14
2200 block of Los Robles Avenue
3:22 p.m.           
An unlocked vehicle was ransacked.
