SMPD Blotter: Bank Robbery, Assault With Deadly Weapon

The following crimes occurred in San Marino recently:
Bank Robbery
800 block of Huntington Drive
April 20
10:05 a.m.
A bank robbery occurred at East West Bank. The suspects—which numbered two or possibly three—were in their 20’s, armed with semi automatic handguns. Three bank employees including a security guard were made to lie prone while the suspects removed money from the vault. They fled in a maroon Mustang which was located in the 1500 block of Wilson and was a stolen vehicle.
Assault With a Deadly Weapon

7:41 p.m.
An assault with a deadly weapon report was taken when a female hit a male with her vehicle.
Theft
700 block of Plymouth Road
April 18
2:28 p.m.
A petty theft report was taken for stolen packages.
Hit and Run
600 block of Sierra Madre Boulevard
April 18
12:51 p.m.
A hit and run traffic collision occurred. No report was desired.

A hit and run traffic collision occurred.

7:24 a.m.
A pedestrian safety operation resulted in forty-nine citations issued and four vehicles towed for drivers without licenses.

A vandalism report was taken for a vehicle that was egged.
DUI
Huntington Drive and St. Albans Road
April 22
2:28 a.m.
A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a male for driving under the influence.

A stop on a suspicious occupied vehicle resulted in the arrest of a woman for driving under the influence.

A traffic stop on a suspicious occupied vehicle resulted in the arrest of a woman for driving under the influence.
