Assault

A report was taken for an assault committed by a man who was possibly a former employee of the victim.
Patch is following up with the SMPD for further details.

Elder Abuse

11:43 a.m.
A report was taken for elder abuse.

Burglary

1300 block of Circle Drive
1:42 a.m.   
A vehicle burglary report was taken for a laptop, tablet, cell phone and additional items stolen from the vehicle.

Theft

Dec. 25
1700 block of Warwick Road
10:46 p.m.   
A petty theft report was taken for cash stolen from a vehicle.

A petty theft report was taken for items stolen from a vehicle.

Dec. 19
2300 block of Huntington Drive
4:28 p.m.   
A petty theft report was taken for an iPhone stolen from the charger.

An identity theft report was taken.


Vandalism

Dec. 23
2100 block of Huntington Drive
3:41 p.m.   
A vandalism report was taken when juveniles shot BB guns at a vehicle. The juveniles were counseled and released to their parents.

Dec. 23
1700 block of Windsor Road
7:59 a.m.   
A vandalism report was taken when a window was broken on a vehicle and the vehicle’s side was scratched with a key.

Hit and run

Dec. 22
2900 block of Huntington Drive
2:05 p.m.
A hit and run traffic collision occurred.
