“Design Your Second Half – Uncover Dreams & Reconnect with Joy”

Nancy DelSanto, founder of askDECOR, will address the women of USC Trojan Affiliates on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the home of San Marino resident Laura Burge. The meeting will begin with refreshments at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7:00 p.m. Community members are encouraged to attend.

Nancy’s talk entitled “Design Your Second Half – Uncover Dreams & Reconnect with Joy” was inspired in 2015 when Nancy and her husband downsized from their home in San Marino and moved to a small home in Newport Beach, selling 80% of what they owned, embracing a new lifestyle, and loving it. She specializes in helping clients navigating big changes – whether it is to a condo in town, that ocean view they always wanted, or remodeling to create an environment that better supports their needs.

Nancy’s talk promises to lead you on a journey to override the voice in your head and uncover the wisdom that is already inside of you. It will awaken forgotten dreams and nurture new desires; will dissolve the fear that is sabotaging your best lifestyle; and will help you know the next steps for creating an environment that supports you.

She is a respected interior designer and has appeared on HGTV and local newscasts, while her work has been featured in the Pasadena Showcase House of Design, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County House of Design, the ASID Pasadena Kitchen and Home Tour, Kitchen Trends Magazine, National Kitchen and Bath Association Profiles Magazine, and the Laguna Design Center Entertaining By Design. Nancy is also a past president of National Charity League, Inc. San Marino Area Chapter and was an active volunteer within the San Gabriel Valley.

Trojan Affiliates supports the University of Southern California and welcomes all interested women to attend its meetings and events. All women parents, alumni, and friends of USC are encouraged to attend. Trojan Affiliates awards ten to twelve scholarships per year to deserving USC students residing in the San Gabriel Valley. Their next meeting on March 1st meeting will specifically welcome prospective members and will feature May and Ray Wells and Maureen McNulty, Executive Donor Advisor, Alzheimer’s Association and will include a personal story of Ray’s Alzheimer’s journey.
