High school, PCC students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend. “One quarter of PCC’s student body is Asian American or Pacific Islander, and we’re glad to know that we have such a productive relationship with Dr. Vurdien and college leadership. Students who attend will receive valuable information that will help them prepare for college and beyond,” said Michelle Freridge, Chair of the President’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Advisory Committee, the primary sponsor of the event.
Workshops include:

- Transfer: What it is and how it works
- Support services at PCC
Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn more about PCC’s highly successful Pathways program, which provides students a streamlined path to achieve their academic goals. Students who attend the event will have on-the-spot acceptance into the program.
