City Advises 125 Residents Still Without Power

The City of San Marino sent an update to residents Tuesday afternoon urging those still without power to contact the City and Southern California Edison directly.

Some San Marino residents and buildings are still without power, following .

“The primary focus of the City is to get power restored to all our residents,” the City of San Marino said in a message via email and robocall Tuesday. “We have been using all avenues available to us to pressure Edison to quickly restore electrical service to those areas we have identified as being without.”

Following , we received a number of calls and have conveyed that list to Edison. We are in the process of calling back those residents who contacted us yesterday to check on their status. A recent check of the Edison website shows that 125 customers in San Marino are still without power. We believe that number to be low and want to continue to provide real time information to Edison. 

Who to Contact

We are again asking for you to please call the City’s Emergency Hotline at 300-0745 or 300-0746 between the hours of 8am and 5pm to report that your power is out or if you know a neighbor whose power is still out. If you happen to connect to voicemail, please leave a message with your name, address, and phone number and we will return your call promptly during business hours.

We also encourage you to call Edison directly at 800-611-1911 and apply pressure from your end. We understand your frustration and are doing everything we can to resolve this situation.

Closures

The , and offices continue to be closed due to lack of power. will be closed for the next two weeks due to the extensive damage that has occurred within the park.

Until the recovery process is complete, the City said it will continue to send informational updates.
