Man Shot Dead in SGV Motel, 1 Suspect in Custody
Three other suspects are outstanding. Authorities say the shooting started as an altercation between two different gangs.

ROSEMEAD, CA - A man was shot to death in front of a motel in the Rosemead area, and one of four suspects was in custody Friday, authorities said.
The shooting, which took place in the 1600 block of Del Mar Avenue, was reported at 11:48 p.m. Thursday, according to Deputy Trina Schrader.
The victim died at a hospital, Schrader said. His name was withheld pending family notification.

"During the investigation, detectives learned that the shooting originated from an altercation between members of two different gangs," a sheriff's statement said.
One suspect fled in a vehicle, and the three others -- one of whom was caught -- fled on foot, the sheriff's department said. His name was not immediately released.
