All profits from the sale benefit Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). The purpose of the Pasadena Guild is t0 raise funds for the hospital’s research, education, and patient services programs.

Treasures and Trivia is an annual tradition in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. PGCH members, local businesses, and the community at large respond generously by donating the items featured in the sale. Guild members work throughout the year sorting and marking merchandise for sale to the public. Many shoppers come every year, but any community resident who appreciates the opportunity to buy quality goods at reasonable prices can find something here. Large or small, there are treasures to be found!This year, the Guild is celebrating its 70th year. Founded in 1947 by a small group of dedicated hospital volunteers from the Pasadena area, the Guild has raised over $28 million throughout the years, successfully completing seven Guild endowments in Pediatric Eye Care, Pediatric Surgery, Adolescent Medicine, and Bone and Soft Tissue Tumor Research as well as Developmental Biology Research in partnership with the Saban Institute and one capital campaign.Children’s Hospital Los Angeles has been named the best children’s hospital in California and among the best in the nation for clinical excellence with its selection to the prestigious US News and World Report Honor Roll. The hospital is also one of America’s premier teaching hospitals through its affiliation since 1932 with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
