Treasures and Trivia is an annual tradition in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley. PGCH members, local businesses, and the community at large respond generously by donating the items featured in the sale. Guild members work throughout the year sorting and marking merchandise for sale to the public. Many shoppers attend every year and some come for all three days. Others are community residents who appreciate the opportunity to buy quality goods at reasonable prices. Large or small, there are treasures to be found!

This year the Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital is celebrating its 71st year. Established in 1947 by a small group of dedicated volunteers, the Guild has raised over $25 million for Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, successfully completing seven Guild endowments in Pediatric Eye Cancer, Pediatric Surgery, Adolescent Medicine, Bone and Soft Tissue Tumor Research as well as Developmental Biology endowments in partnership with the Saban Research Institute. The Guild also raised funds for the new Anderson Pavilion’s capital campaign.

This year the Pasadena Guild of Children’s Hospital is under the able leadership of Sarah Shelton, President. The Treasures and Trivia Rummage Sale is being chaired by Hilary Dorsey of San Marino, and Kelly Rouse and Annie Higgins of Pasadena.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is one of only ten (10) children’s hospitals in the nation good enough to be ranked “Best” on the prestigious U.S. News & World Report Honor Roll, and ranked among the top five in the country. Children’s Hospital is home to The Saban Research Institute, among the largest and most productive pediatric facilities in the United States. The hospital is also one of the country’s premier teaching hospitals through its affiliation since 1932 with Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.
