San Marino High School Boys Basketball 3 on 3 Tournament

If Vince Lombardi were to address the 2014 San Marino High School Boys Basketball team, his speech would probably start like this, “Young men, this year there will be three priorities in your life and three priorities. God, your family, and the San Marino Titans Basketball Program.”

As lead chairman for the 2014 Annual San Marino High School Boys Basketball 3 on 3 Tournament, I would personally like to invite EVERY San Marino resident, EVERY San Marino student, and EVERY person who is a fan of the City of San Marino to join us on Friday, November 28th, 2014 and help us officially launch the start of what we feel will be one of the most exciting seasons of our School’s history.

The tournament is open to any young man 15 years of age or older. A team must consist of a minimum of 3 players and no more than 5 players. The cost per team is $125.00 for the first 3 players and $15.00 per player thereafter. Registration includes 1) entrance into the tournament, 2) lunch, and 3) a complimentary T-Shirt. Registration will be open from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Opening remarks by Coach Papadopulos and the National Anthem will start at 10:00 AM. The tournament will begin at 10:30 AM and will conclude at 1:30 PM followed by a Victory Ceremony at 1:45 PM. At 2:00 PM your San Marino High School Boys Varsity Basketball team will taken on the Alumni Legends Team.

While we realize that that Friday is on Thanksgiving Weekend, we implore those residents who are celebrating the holiday locally, to come and support their hometown team. These young men have been working tirelessly during the offseason, and under the mentorship of Head Coach Mihail Papadopulos, have been competing in tournament after tournament, preparing for the road ahead. The physical growth coupled with the personal growth our boys are experiencing has been amazing.

This years team mantra, “Earned, Not Given” holds true and these players have earned the right to have a crowd rallying behind them at each and every game. I look forward to seeing you there!
