San Marino's Swedish Cowboy Barber Celebrates 40 Years (Video)

San Marino and “Swedish cowboy barber” wouldn’t seem to go hand-in-hand unless you know Jann Eldnor, the barber whose saloon/salon has been a fixture in the community for decades.
Eldnor celebrates 40 years as a barber this year, noted the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, whose video with Eldnor in his San Marino shop can be seen above.
"I've been here longer than Henry Huntington, the king of San Marino," Eldnor told the Tribune in his beloved accent. "Now I don't speak Swedish, it got away from me. And I don't speak English either - I speak Swinglish."

More than a barber, Eldnor is a character and a storyteller. Several press outlets—as well as law enforcement officials and attorneys—have been particularly interested in his tales of interaction with former customer Christopher Chichester in the 1980s.

Gerhartsreiter awaits trial in September and Eldnor could very well be called to testify. Eldnor was ready to testify in but was cut for time.
