EAST PALO ALTO, CA — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on southbound Highway 101 in East Palo Alto early Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported shortly after 6 a.m. near the University Avenue on-ramp.
The collision blocked lanes during the morning commute. The two right lanes reopened around 9:30 a.m., more than three hours after the crash was reported.
Authorities did not immediately release the identity of the person killed or provide additional details about what led to the crash.
