San Mateo's Home Energy Upgrade Workshop

 This workshop will introduce San Mateo residents to  energy efficiency programs available through the County and the City.

Energy Upgrade California is a new statewide program offering up to $4,000 in rebates for homeowners interested in taking a “whole house” approach to energy saving. Making energy upgrades are a smart investment because they improve energy efficiency, comfort, health and durability of your home. Come to the workshop to learn more about the benefits of energy upgrades from energy saving professionals. 

The Rising Sun Energy Center in collaboration with the City of San Mateo is offering any resident of San Mateo City a FREE Green House Call with eneryg saving installations. Their  Energy Specialists will replace all incandescent light bulbs with CFL's, will install efficient flow shower heads and faucet aerators, provide power strips, and a variety of other free services.  The Energy Specialists will also provide information to the homeowner or renter on additional ways to save energy and water.

All attendees receive free energy saving giveaways. Preregistration is not required.
