1 Dead, 1 Hospitalized In Shooting Near San Ramon: Sheriff
The shooting was investigated hours before two people were found dead in a possible murder-suicide in Pleasanton.
SAN RAMON, CA — A shooting at a home outside San Ramon city limits left one person dead and another hospitalized Wednesday afternoon, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
Contra Costa sheriff's deputies responded to a "medical police" call on Bollinger Canyon Road in unincorporated San Ramon at 1:05 p.m. Wednesday, a department spokesperson confirmed to Patch. Deputies discovered a woman inside a home bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound. She was transported to a local hospital.
Another resident was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound, CCSO said.

CCSO detectives and crime lab personnel continue to investigate the incident. There are no outstanding suspects or threat to the community as of Wednesday.
On the same day in Pleasanton, police found a 64-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were found dead in a possible murder-suicide in Pleasanton, police said. Pleasanton police said they do not believe the two incidents are related.
