SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon police arrested two suspects accused of stealing more than $45,000 of high-end sunglasses from City Center, the San Ramon Police Department said.

On June 11, a suspect entered an unspecified business at City Center, filled a garbage bag with high-end sunglasses, then fled the store, police said. A corporal from the Organized Retail Theft Suppression Team patrolling the area at the time located the suspect, who attempted to escape on foot before getting into a waiting vehicle.

Patrol officers stopped the car and took both suspects into custody. The merchandise was recovered and returned to the business, police said.
