20 Felony Charges Filed Alleging Sexual Misconduct With Teens
The suspect was a high school coach and church youth leader

A wrestling coach at California High School and small group youth leader at New Life Church has been charged with 20 felony counts involving sexual misconduct with teens.
Kevin Lopez, 27, was arrested on Sept. 9, the same day San Ramon Police became aware of the allegations.

The police department revealed today that several victims have been identified. The Contra Costa District Attorney’s Office filed 20 felony counts against Lopez last Friday, Sept. 12.
Lopez is being held on $2,125,000 bail.

PC 288(c)(1) – Thirteen counts – Lewd Act Upon Child Age 14-15
PC 288.4(b) – Two counts – Arrangement of Meeting with a Minor for Purpose of Engaging in Certain Lewd and Lascivious Behavior
PC 311.4(c) – One count – Using Minor for Noncommercial Sex Acts
PC 288.2(a) – Two counts – Distributing/Exhibiting Lewd Matter to a Minor
PC 288.3(a) – One count – Contacting Minor for purpose of Engaging in Lewd and Lascivious Behavior with a Minor
PC 288(a) – One count – Lewd Act Upon Child Under Age 14
