200 Thank You Letters From Iron Horse Students To Those Who Serve
In honor of those who serve, the kids put pen to paper and reflected.

SAN RAMON, CA — Students at Iron Horse Middle School in San Ramon were not even born when the 9/11 attacks occurred. But in honor of those who serve, the kids put pen to paper and reflected.
The result was more than 200 thank you letters to soldiers, veterans and first responders.
The notes were part of an effort in conjunction with the nonprofit Operation Gratitude, which sends items and care packages to those who serve. Founded in 2003, the organization sends more than 300,000 care packages annually.

As they reflected on 9/11, Iron Horse students showed their gratitude by writing about 200 thank you letters to send to soldiers, veterans, and first responders! Thank you to @OpGratitude for all that your organization does to honor America’s heroes! #powerofjag #SRVLibrarylove pic.twitter.com/54fRqtE0H1
