39th Annual Run For Education Comes To San Ramon
Register now for a weekend of fun that includes a number of different runs and an Education Expo. Proceeds benefit SRVUSD schools.
SAN RAMON, CA — The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation will hold its 39th Annual Run for Education in two years on Sunday, Oct. 9, in addition to several other events taking place throughout the weekend. Events will be in-person for the first time in two years.
Saturday, Oct. 8
- The Friendship Run: Students with special needs and their supporters can participate in a Friendship Run at 10 a.m. at 2700 Camino Ramon in San Ramon, near the City Center Bishop Ranch. Participants and one friend or caregiver can register for free.
- The Mini Run for Education: Runners aged 2-6 will compete in their own mini race, and receive a shirt, cape, medal, and treats. At 2700 Camino Ramon at 1 p.m.
- Expo for Education: At the same location, kids and their parents can enjoy performances, DJs, a Kids’ Zone, and tents from local businesses. The expo is located at 2700 Camino Ramon from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday.

- Run for Education: The run will offer 5K and 10K options. The 10K starts at Charlotte Wood Middle School in Danville and ends at 2700 Camino Ramon in San Ramon, while the 5K is a loop starting and ending at 2700 Camino Ramon. Runners will receive t-shirts and medals. Prices range from $29 to $69 per runner. Proceeds go to the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation, which helps provide additional money to fund grants, STEAM programs, professional development, and individual teacher grants.
