Police Hope Fraudulent Credit Card Charge Leads Them To Burglars
The thefts occurred overnight Saturday night to Sunday morning.

SAN RAMON, CA — Four cars at Reflections Condominiums in San Ramon were broken into this weekend, according to the San Ramon Police Department.
Three thefts were from unlocked cars, said Cpt. Denton Carlson. The owner of a fourth car insisted their car was locked, but police found no damage.
One victim reported a fraudulent credit card charge and police are using surveillance footage from the site in an attempt to track down the burglars, he said.

Police ask people to remove property for their cars to protect themselves from opportunistic thefts, Carlson said.
"Unfortunately, the shelter at home public health order does not stop criminal activity from taking place," he said in an email. "Most thefts from vehicles are crimes of opportunity."
