All Lanes on I-680 Reopened After Fatal Crash in San Ramon

Two lanes of the freeway were blocked causing major delays late Friday night.

All lanes of northbound Interstate Highway 680 in San Ramon have been reopened, according to the California Highway Patrol, after a fatal car accident occurred late Friday night. An injured victim was reported shortly before 10:30 p.m. just north of Alcosta Boulevard, but initial details from the scene left it unclear whether the death was due to a solo vehicle crash or a vehicle striking a pedestrian.
