All Lanes of I-680 Reopened After Sig-Alert Issued Due to Late Night Crash Near Alamo

CHP says minor injuries were reported.

All lanes are reopened after an accident involving a trailer and one other vehicle on Interstate Highway 680 near Alamo closed four lanes this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP issued a sig-alert blocking four lanes on the southbound Highway 680 near Main Street at 11:32 p.m., leaving only the right shoulder open for over an hour. Debris was scattered across the roadway after a vehicle crashed into a trailer that became detached from a pick-up truck, the CHP said.

The sig-alert was cancelled and the roadway was opened at 12:34 a.m., according to the CHP. Minor injuries were reported, the CHP said.
