All lanes have reopened after a multi-vehicle major injury accident on northbound Interstate Highway 680 in Danville closed all lanes this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes were blocked since 12:30 a.m. to clear debris from the roadway and open up space for an air ambulance landing on the freeway, according to CHP officials. The roadway was cleared and all lanes were reported open at 2 a.m., CHP officials said.
