SAN RAMON, CA — Trumark Homes will build a total of 195 single-family and townhomes inside Bishop Ranch, the builder announced. The Trails in Bishop Ranch will be located in the northwestern part of Bishop Ranch, close to the Iron Horse Trail, and is anticipated to open in the fall of 2027.
The homes will be contained in two neighborhoods. The Promenade at The Trails will feature 67 three-story single-family homes ranging from approximately 2,169 to 2,320 square feet, four bedroom, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and second-floor decks.
Paseo at The Trails will feature 128 three-story townhomes with four floorplans, ranging from roughly 1,573 to 2,429 square feet. The homes will feature three to four bedrooms, three to three-and-a-half bathrooms, and second-floor decks off the main living area. Select floorplans will offer first-floor bedrooms and dens.
Pricing and specific home details will be announced prior to the model opening and sales launch planned for fall 2027.
The homes are part of about 8,4321 new homes planned over roughly two decades at Bishop Ranch, down from an original plan for 10,000. New additions include 404 homes at City Village, which includes 114 detached row houses, 154 courtyard homes and 136 townhouses, plus a two-acre park.
In July, Sunset Development Corporation announced that Lennar plans to build 255 single-family homes inside Canopy, a 27-acre residential neighborhood being developed on the BR8 office building site near Executive Parkway and Bishop Drive. 8- units of senior housing and 120 units of family and general housing are planned at the former Bishop Ranch Service Center/Camino Ramon site.
Sunset also wants to demolish Chevron's 92-acre former corporate campus to build a new neighborhood called The Orchards, containing 2,452 residential units, parks, and a new retail center.
