Armed Bank Robbery Suspect Caught on Camera, San Ramon Police Say

BREAKING: Police said the suspect used a revolver to rob the US Bank. Do you know this man?

SAN RAMON, CA — Police are searching for an armed man who allegedly robbed a San Ramon bank Monday afternoon. According to police, the suspect entered the US Bank located at 2821 Crow Canyon Road just before noon.

Police said the man, who appeared to have a revolver, demanded large bills from the bank tellers.

“Prior to leaving the bank, the suspect directed one of the employees to accompany him out of the building,” police said in a statement. “The suspect walked with the employee for approximately 150 yards to a residential area at which point he directed her to return to the bank.”

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s. He has grey stubble and wore a dark-colored pea coat, gray hooded sweatshirt, black beanie hat, dark-colored pants and dark- colored gloves.
