Armed Suspects Were Going To Commit Robbery: SRPD
San Ramon police arrested two men late at night whom they said had two loaded guns, cash, and were going to commit a robbery.

SAN RAMON, CA — San Ramon police arrested two men they say intended to commit an armed robbery.
On a recent night shift, officers were dispatched to investigate a suspicious vehicle call on the 9200 block of Alcosta Boulevard, the San Ramon Police Department said in a social media post. During a search of the car, officers discovered a loaded firearm, a replica firearm, stacks of cash and “other items consistent with illegal activity.”
Police said that further investigation revealed that the two suspects were conspiring to commit a robbery.

Two men were arrested on numerous charges and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. Police did not provide further information on the suspects.
