Accused Arsonist Arrested In San Ramon
Police say the 39-year-old man started brush fires on Sunday and Monday.

SAN RAMON, CA — A man accused of starting two brush fires in San Ramon was arrested, police officials said Tuesday. San Ramon resident William R. Priest, 39, was allegedly spotted running from the second fire on Pradera Way, which was started in the open space belonging to East Bay Regional Parks Monday afternoon.
The first fire, which burned 10 acres on Sunday, was started on Pradera Way in the San Ramon city limits.
Investigators tracked Priest to a home in San Ramon and arrested him on suspicion of arson. Priest was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility and is being held on $75,000 bail.
