Assistance League Again Welcomes Community Partners Fehr & Peers
When community-minded organizations work in partnership, EVERYBODY WINS!

Since 2006, Assistance League® Diablo Valley has enjoyed Community Partners employee volunteers from local businesses and corporations who become “hands-on” involved with several of the chapter’s philanthropic programs.
On September 26, Community Partners from Walnut Creek-based Fehr & Peers, a provider of transportation and engineering services, made yet another visit to Assistance League Diablo Valley offices. Since 2017, Fehr & Peers has been “hands-on” involved with the nationally acclaimed Operation School Bell®-Clothing and other of the chapter’s 16 philanthropic programs.
After a brief visit with Community Partners Chair Linda Mercer, the indefatig- able innovators reported to the chapter annex where they bundled six pairs of socks, six pairs of underwear, a sweatshirt, a total of two pants, shorts or skorts, and three white, collared shirts—all into large, reusable blue bags, 150 in total. These will be delivered to schoolchildren attending Bel Air Elementary School (GO, PANTHERS!) in Bay Point (Mt. Diablo School District.)
