Assistance League Bestowed Partners in Educational Excellence Award
Education + Philanthropy = Success!
As May ushers in this fiscal year’s conclusion, Assistance League® Diablo Valley member volunteers reflect on the lives they have changed. Clients, in turn, will have a profound effect on the lives they touch while furthering the mission of Caring and Commitment in our community. Overall, the concerted efforts do not merely double, they compound.
Every Year, the Mt. Diablo Unified School District recognizes organizations who make a difference in the community. On Thursday, April 18, Assistance League Diablo Valley was awarded the Partners in Education Award for its Operation School Bell® programs, i.e., Clothing, Listen, R.E.A.D., Elementary Arts, Food Boxes and the Kids on the Block, at its recent Administrator of the Year Awards Event.
