On October 21, nine employee volunteers from Fehr & Peers, world known transportation specialists with an office located in Walnut Creek, made a return visit to Assistance League of Diablo Valley’s Annex to continue its mission of improving communities by supporting nonprofit organizations. President Veronica Gant prefaced the Operation School Bell bagging event with an update regarding the chapter’s ten hands-on programs’ purpose and impact.
In a mere two hour’s time, all involved had placed six pairs of socks, six pairs of underwear, a shoe gift card, a sweatshirt, two pairs of pants for the boys or one pair of pants and one skort (upon request) for the girls, and three white, collared shirts—all into large, reusable blue bags. Together, Assistance League of Diablo Valley and Fehr & Peers improved lives in the community by putting “Caring and Commitment into Action.”
