Assistance League Lauds Fehr & Peers’ Indefatigable Support
When two community-minded organizations work in partnership, EVERYBODY WINS!

Since 2006, Assistance League® of Diablo Valley has enjoyed a Corporate Partnerships component, where employee volunteers from local businesses and corporations become hands-on involved with several of the chapter’s philanthropic programs. On September 29, Corporate Partners employee volunteers from Walnut Creek-based Fehr & Peers, a provider of transportation and engineering services, made its ninth visit to Assistance League of Diablo Valley Offices. Since 2017, Fehr & Peers Corporate volunteers have been “hands-on” involved with Community Needs Programs, one of which is Food Boxes; as well as the nationally acclaimed Operation School Bell®.
After a brief visit with Corporate Partners Chair Linda Mercer, the energetic gamechangers had placed six pairs of socks, six pairs of underwear, a sweatshirt, two pairs of pants for the boys or one pair of pants and one pair of shorts, one pair of pants and one skort (upon request) for the girls, and three white, collared shirts—all into large, reusable blue bags, 200 in total. These will be delivered to schoolchildren attending Marina Vista, in Pittsburg (GO OSPREYS!)
Together, Assistance League of Diablo Valley’s and Fehr & Peers improve lives in the community by contributing to a meaningful and successful school performance.
