Assistance League’s Thanksgiving and Skiing Event Approaches

The member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, happily remind you that Thanksgiving Day will fall on November 24. This will allow enough time to prepare for your annual traditions.

The typically well attended Thanksgiving and Skiing Event will begin on Tuesday, November 8, at 10 a.m. When you consider the circumstances concerning Thanksgiving over the two previous years, perhaps a more whimsical, lighter decorative touch, as seen in the photo, is called for.

Likewise, in preparing for the fast approaching winter activities, take advantage of the ski related merchandise to help you “conquer the mountain.” Previously owned but infrequently used items such as parkas, ski pants, ski bags and gloves are but a few items available.
