Assistance League Supports Contra Costa/Solano County Food Bank

Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs reminds us that families have the right to be safe!

When we all work together, we do not merely provide food; we nurture at a deeper level.

Due to the growing need to feed those in our community who are vulnerable, Assistance League® of Diablo Valley is collecting non-perishable items to contribute to the Contra Costa and Solano County Food Bank.

Such items as peanut butter, pasta, rice and beans, macaroni and cheese, tuna fish, canned chicken, canned fruits and vegetables, snack cups, snack bars and cereal are most appreciated. (In the interest of safety, please check the expiration date on each package.)

For your convenience, drop off containers are located at the Assistance League of Diablo Valley office, located at the corner of 2711 Buena Vista Avenue and Second Avenue, Walnut Creek. No donation is too small. Together, we will overcome the threat of widespread hunger.
