Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Christmas in July Approaches
In compliance with Contra Costa County and in response to thrift shop staffers' and customers' concerns, thank you for wearing a mask.
The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® of Diablo Valley Thrift Shop at the Way Side Inn, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette, depart from the theory that “Christmas comes but once a year.” To that end, they invite you to attend the annual Christmas in July event, scheduled to begin on Tuesday, July 27, at 10 a.m., and conclude on Saturday, July 31, at 3 p.m.
Every available inch of shelves and display cases will be crammed with Santas, Christmas china, dishes, including Spode, Fitz and Floyd, platters, wreaths, an abundance of Christmas ornaments and stockings to hang on your mantle. You might consider a second visit to the thrift shop in that the Christmas in July inventory is too expansive to be displayed in its entirety.
Your generous donations and timely purchases at this well-known landmark provide the greatest gifts, “Caring and Commitment,” for those in our community who are vulnerable.
