Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Classic Handbags “Must See” Nears
Ironically, the prices are as attractive as the handbags, themselves.
These crisp early September mornings alert the dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League of Diablo Valley Thrift Shop, located next to the Park Theater in Lafayette, that the annual Classic Handbag Event is fast approaching. On Tuesday, September 20, at 10 a.m. sharp, the well known landmark will transform to a “handbag boutique.” At the risk of name dropping, Burberry, Coach, Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke, and Michael Kors will head the line-up, which presently exceeds 90 items. Incredibly, the prices top at a mere $50.
Likewise, a full array of leathers, canvas, larger bags, bags with shoulder straps, crossbody and totes presented in black, brown, tan and fun fashion colors promise to meet your expectations. As important, an assortment of small accessories such as key rings, clutches, and wallets help you finish “the look” for cooler climes.
