Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Fall Merchandise Event Approaches
In response to Contra Costa County's, thrift shop staffers' and customers' concerns, thank you for wearing a mask.

The dedicated member volunteers at the Assistance League® Thrift Shop at the Way Side Inn, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, prepare for yet another “standing room only” fete, the Fall Merchandise Event. Scheduled to begin September 14, at 10 a.m. sharp and conclude Saturday, September 18, at 3 p.m., this well attended coup might require more than one visit.
As you enter the easily recognized landmark, a palette of such autumnal tones as crimson, poppy, daffodil, gold, pumpkin, sage, scarlet and pine will greet you. Likewise, a myriad of textures ranging from faux suede, fleece, denim, and knits will prepare you for the long-awaited lower temperatures. Likewise, this something-for-everyone excursion allows for your personal preferences; i.e., skirt lengths (note the plural), dress styles, neck treatments, sleeve design and pant leg width.
Added to this event will be an assortment of such hard goods as a weather vane, a miniature decorative book stack, a rocking horse, a vintage vanity mirror, a metal basket and an attractive tin that you can put to practical use, just to name a few.
