Assistance League Way Side Inn Schedules Annual Winter Sale

The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette want to remind you that despite El Nino’s moderate temperatures, chilly mornings and crisp late afternoons and evenings continue to loom on the horizon. Not surprisingly, this anomaly has inspired yet another Annual Winter Sale that will virtually usher in the month of March.

On Tuesday, March 1, at 10 AM sharp to be exact, you might find discerning bargain hunters such as yourself waiting not so patiently for the thrift shop door to open to a venue of, “I can’t be reading this sales ticket correctly” prices. Everything in the shop will be on sale; clothing, dishes, items of décor, books and toys will answer all of your cold weather needs. This “shop ‘till you drop” might require more than one trip, so plan accordingly.

As in previous years, on Tuesday, March 1 through Thursday, March 3, ALL merchandise will be marked at half price. On Friday, March 4, ALL merchandise will be marked at $2. To sweeten the deal, a bag of books will be marked at $1, the price of a pack of gum! On Saturday, March 5, you will be able to fill a bag with merchandise for $5 and, again, a bag of books will be marked a $1!

When you support Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, you not only make money by spending money, you improve the lives of those in our community who are vulnerable. After such rigorous retail therapy, you’ll want to treat yourself to somewhat of a respite while preparing for the Spring Merchandise Debut scheduled for March 8.
