Assistance League Welcomes Jay Lifson and Sara Regan, LCofC

This well-known landmark has witnessed a wealth of history that dates back to the late 19th Century.

At a recent Assistance League of Diablo Valley Regular Meeting, retiring Executive Director for the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce Jay Lifson and successor Sara Regan extolled the strengths that result when the Chamber of Commerce and the Business Community work together. A vibrant economy and confident leadership empower all involved to adapt to an everchanging world. As it happens, two-thirds of Chamber of Commerce participants in the Bay Area are Lafayette-based.

Lifson currently serves on several boards and committees in the community and recently received the Lafayette Marquis Business Person of the Year Award. Lifson stressed that Assistance League of Diablo Valley’s involvement and networking with the Chamber of Commerce would increase chapter membership and leadership.

Sara Regan continued Lifson’s appeal by listing involvement opportunities that help the Lafayette Chamber members become more visible. It’s a Wonderful Life, a pre-Thanksgiving Community Breakfast, A Taste of Lafayette and Rock the Plaza are but a few such events.
