Back To School In San Ramon: What To Know

SAN RAMON, CA — Time flies when you’re having fun, and summer break is already over. On Wednesday, San Ramon Valley Unified schools will return to the classroom.

Here are some dates and info to know as families prepare for another school year. See here for a schedule of Back to School nights.

• Sept. 5: Labor Day
• Sept. 26: School holiday
• Oct. 3-7: Conference week, shortened days
• Nov. 1: School holiday
• Nov. 11: Veterans Day
• Nov. 21-25: Thanksgiving Break
• Dec. 23-Jan.6 : Winter Break
• Jan. 16: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Feb. 20: President’s Day
• Feb. 21: Staff development day
• March 22-24: Conference week, shortened days
• April 3-7: Spring Break
• May 29: Memorial Day
• June 1: Last day of school

COVID-19 testing is currently available Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Education Center at Old Orchard Drive in Danville. Appointments are required. Information on the district’s updated COVID-19 procedures is forthcoming.
