Scene Around Town: 'Bah Humbug' Auditions

Locals flocked to the Dougherty Station community center Monday night to try out for the holiday play.

The San Ramon Performing Arts Foundation held its audition for "Bah Humbug: Scrooge's Christmas Carol" Monday evening at the Dougherty Station Community Center's Front Row Theater on Bollinger Canyon Road.

Directors Terry Cunningham and Colleen and Nick Vitalis along with choreographer Melissa Rapela judged auditions for the holiday play. Many community members  gave it their all – singing, dancing and performing a monologue.

"Bah Humbug" will run Dec. 3-12. Tickets for the play will be available at www.sanramonperformingarts.com. Callbacks are Wednesday.
