SAN RAMON, CA — One of San Ramon's major thoroughfares is closed Saturday evening because of an oil slick on the roadway, according to the San Ramon Police Department.

Westbound Bollinger Canyon Road, between San Ramon Valley Boulevard and Talavera Drive is closed until road crews can clean up the oil slick.

The oil slick in the roadway is from a vehicle that caught fire this afternoon.
