Breast Cancer Awareness Month: SRRMC Offers Enhanced Services

SRRMC: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and San Ramon Regional Medical Center is making it easier than ever for women to get their routine mammograms, including offering same day appointments.

Here are several ways we are raising awareness:
· Convenient Mammograms – extended hours every Wednesday in October
· 3D Mammography available
· Breast Health Seminar – Oct. 23 at 6 p.m.
One out of every eight women will develop breast cancer sometime in her lifetime. If detected early, the five-year survival rate is 98 percent. Mammograms are the most effective form of early detection.
