Water Detectives:
Become a "water detective" and learn how environmental scientists uncover the mysteries of water pollution through engaging hands-on experiments. Young Scientists will measure key factors such as pH levels, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, and contamination as they investigate their local environment to see firsthand how water quality affects ecosystems and human health. Campers will learn the importance of clean water, the science behind water testing, and develop skills that are crucial for environmental stewardship all while having fun and playing water themed games.
Jr. Eco-Crime Scene Detectives:
Explore real-world science through the lens of environmental forensics! Become the center of the action as an Eco-CSI agent to analyze clues, conduct laboratory experiments, and record findings. Use critical thinking to uncover evidence, find the culprit, and solve ecological crime. Everyone will enjoy our interactive crime-scene simulations that bring environmental forensic science to life and help campers discover how real investigators keep our planet healthy.
Inside the Environmental News Room:
Interested in being on TV but not sure about acting? Try broadcast journalism! Join a team of young reporters who spotlight the planet- covering everything from wildlife and environmental science discoveries to green sports, sustainable entertainment, and breaking news. Campers will have fun taking on roles like News Anchor, Reporter, Meteorologist, and more.
