SAN RAMON, CA — The Year of the Rabbit is approaching, which traditionally symbolizes prosperity, longevity, and peace.

In San Ramon, it also means an extravagant celebration at City Center Bishop Ranch. On Sunday, Jan. 22 from 2-4, head over to City Center’s Alexander Square to celebrate the start of the traditional 15 days of celebrations.

The free celebration will offer Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese dance performances, in addition to the famed New Year’s lion dancers. Guests can also enjoy kung fu demonstrations, instrumental performances, and a selfie station. Guests are encouraged to wear red, the traditional color of good fortune. Red envelopes will also be distributed to guests that contain offerings from City Center tenants like Dumpling Time.
