Community Tree Lightings Scheduled In San Ramon
Celebrations are being hosted at City Hall and City Center.

SAN RAMON, CA — A holiday bonanza is headed for San Ramon. The city will host its annual community tree lighting ceremony at Central Park Meadow on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 4-6 p.m., with loads of activities in between.
The festivities begin at 4 p.m. outside City Hall, where community members can enjoy crafts and hot chocolate. Inside the City Hall Rotunda, guests can write letters to Santa, take photos to Santa, and enjoy a carol singalong led by San Ramon Community Chorus and the San Ramon Valley Music Academy.
Guests are asked to bring a new, unwrapped gift for local children in need, and place it inside the rotunda.

The Community Tree Lighting will take place at 5:30 at the Central Park Meadow, accompanied by live music from Olympia Fields Brass.

On Dec. 1, City Center Bishop Ranch is hosting a tree lighting ceremony from 6-7 p.m. The lighting will feature performances from Monte Vista High School Band, the SideNote a cappella singers, and Nutcracker music by Diablo Ballet. Santa will arrive in a red convertible T-Bird, and then spend time with guests. Roaming entertainers like jugglers and stilt walkers will perform.
